Old Trafford is the home stadium of Manchester Untied and the largest football stadium in the Barclays Premier League. Old Trafford currently has a total capacity of 75,957 after undergoing several expansions in the 1990s and 2000s, most notably the addition of extra tiers to the North, West and East stands.

Old Trafford's North Stand is the second largest single stand in any club ground in the UK after the North Stand of Celtic Park with an all-seater capacity of 25,500. The stadium is affectionately known as the Theatre of Dreams by Manchester United fans. In 2003 the stadiums was host of the Champions League Final and also staged matches during UEFA Euro 1996. Old Trafford also hosts rugby league's Super League Grand Final since the Super League's adoption of playoffs in 1998.
