Elland Road is a football stadium located in Leeds and is the current home of Leeds United F.C. Elland Road is currently the largest stadium in the Npower Championship. There are plans to expand the capacity of Elland Road to 50000+ for the Rugby League World Cup, the 2015 Rugby Union World Cup and 2018 Football World Cup should England win the hosting rights.

Elland Road has a total total capacity of 39,402 which comes from the four main stands – the Revie Stand, the East Stand, the South Stand and the John Charles Stand together with the corners. The East stand at Elland Road is the biggest cantilever stand in the world. Elland Road used to have the tallest floodlights in the world located at each corner of the ground.
