Stadion Narodowy is a football stadium located in Warsaw, Poland. Construction started on the stadium in 2008 and was completed in 2011. Stadion Narodowy is due to host the opening match (a group match) of UEFA Euro 2012 as well as 2 other group matches, a quarterfinal and a semifinal of Euro 2012 which is hosted jointly by Poland and Ukraine. Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw is a UEFA Category 4 Stadium and has a retractable PVC roof which unfolds from a nest on a needle suspended above the centre of the pitch.
